Basil Shabazz -

Head Development Coach

Basil Shabazz is a world class athlete reigning from Pine Bluff Arkansas. He was ranked among the top Olympic athletic prospects in track and field in high school. He was an all-American basketball player and his football career left him with the title of “one of the greatest pure athletes Arkansas has ever produced”. He was a 4 sport All American and won state championships in football, basketball and every year in track. Basil was Gatorade athlete of the year in track and football.  He played baseball in high school his senior year and was drafted out of high school in the 3rd round to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1991. Basil played for St Louis then finished with Milwaukee Brewers. He later went to The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he played college football. Basil Shabazz was recruited by the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams and others, after college. He has now found his love for instructing kids in finding their talent!
